Dr. Joseph Carreau, Orthopedic Surgeon joined CNOS in 2016 after completing his fellowship in Orthopedic Sports Medicine at the University of Iowa. Dr. Carreau is originally from Colorado where he attended Colorado State University. Thereafter, he pursued medical school at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska and in 2005, traveled to San Diego to complete his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of California, San Diego. There he received extensive training in adult pedantic trauma and joint replacement surgery. It was there he developed a special interest in advanced arthroscopy and treatment of athletic injuries, thus choosing to pursue a fellowship in Sports Medicine through the University of Iowa.
In addition to general orthopedics, Dr. Carreau specializes in advanced arthroscopic treatment of shoulder and knee conditions, cartilage transplant, joint replacement and the practice of sports medicine.
