The heart and vascular specialists at Providence Medical Center provide the most innovative, effective procedures in their field. It doesn’t matter if the course of treatment is as simple as lowering your cholesterol or as complicated as utilizing the latest pacemakers, our caring professionals are working hard every day to keep hearts healthy.
Our vascular team includes surgeons who specialize in vascular issues like peripheral artery disease, deep vein thrombosis, and varicose veins. The facilities at Providence Medical Center include cutting edge technology to diagnose and treat all types of heart conditions, allowing us to use the least invasive surgical procedures possible.
Cardiac rehab is a medically supervised program designed to help improve your cardiovascular health and help reduce the risk of future cardiac events. If you have experienced a recent heart attack, percutaneous coronary intervention, coronary artery bypass grafting, chronic stable angina, heart failure, cardiac transplantations, or valvular heart disease you may benefit from Cardiac Rehab.
Our Cardiac Rehab program is aimed at helping patients get back to living their life as normally as possible. The program promotes exercise and making healthy lifestyle changes.
First you will want to ask your doctor if you are eligible for cardiac rehab services. Once you know you are eligible, contact our Cardiac Rehab department by calling 402-375-7936 to speak to Gina Buhrman or schedule an appointment. From there, you will work with our team and partner with doctor’s, nurses, pharmacy staff, dietitians, mental health professionals and utilize our Wellness Center during your rehabilitation.
