HOW DO I SIGN UP TO USE MYHEALTH?

Giving your email address when you are at a Providence Medical Center is currently the simplest way to register for MyHealth.

If you registered during your visit, you should receive an email “invitation” to join the health portal. The link in this email message will take you to your registration information. If you do not see the message in your email inbox, you may want to check the junk or spam folder to see if it is there.

HOW DO I ACCESS MYHEALTH?

Click on the Sign In button on our Portal home page.  Then enter your username and password.

AS A PARENT OR GUARDIAN, WILL I BE ABLE TO SEE MY CHILD’S/FAMILY MEMBER’S INFORMATION?

With proper authorizations, representative accounts can be created that allow you to access and/or manage selected family members’ health information just as with a personal account.

DO MY CHILDREN GET THEIR OWN ACCOUNT/LOG IN INFORMATION?

If a child is under the age of 19, then a parent may sign their child up for the Patient Portal. After the age of 19, they will need to create their own account and have their own log in information.

WHAT SERVICES CAN I ACCESS WITH THE PATIENT PORTAL?

  • Request appointments
  • View upcoming scheduled appointments
  • View Lab results
  • Access your health records
  • Pay your bill online

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR AN APPOINTMENT REQUEST TO BE PROCESSED?

Messages and requests will be responded to as quickly as possible, usually within 48/72 hours.

*Remember, the Patient Portal is NOT to be used for emergency related medical issues or questions.

CAN I EXPECT A REPLY BY TELEPHONE, OR EMAIL?

We generally will reply using the same method that you have used to contact us. If we need additional information in order to process your request, we may use email and/or telephone.

WILL I RECEIVE E-MAILS AFTER EACH TEST/ADMISSION/APPOINTMENT?

No. Our Patient Portal will only send an e-mail to update you if there is activity sent to the portal. For instance, Laboratory or Radiology results are able to be viewed, an appointment you requested online has been booked, etc. The Patient Portal will communicate through your e-mail about there being activity on your portal.

I HAD A TEST RECENTLY AT PROVIDENCE. WHY ARE MY RESULTS NOT APPEARING ON MYHEALTH?

We publish results for a majority of tests, however not all tests are availble.

IS MY INFORMATION SECURE?

Yes, MyHealth is HIPAA compliant and provides you with the ability to securely view, store and share your health information.

HOW CAN I GET HELP WITH THE WEBSITE IF I HAVE A PROBLEM?

Be sure to verify that the email that you have supplied is entered correctly. Also be sure to check your spam folder in case that your filter has accidentally placed the Patient Portal invite into the incorrect folder.

WHAT IF I FORGOT MY PASSWORD?

You can use the “Forgot Password” link available on the log in page. If this does not work to your satisfaction, please call us at 877-621-8014, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

ARE THERE REQUIREMENTS THAT I HAVE TO MEET FOR MY PASSWORD?

A “strong” password is recommended. Strong passwords typically include a mix of upper and lower case letters, numbers and special characters. The system will indicate if your password is weak, good or strong.

DO I NEED SPECIAL EQUIPMENT TO USE MYHEALTH?

No.  All you need is access to a computer, a modern web browser, and an internet connection.

IS THERE A FEE TO USE MYHEALTH?

No, MyHealth is free.  It is a service provided from our hospital system, to you, our valued patient.

IS INFORMATION FROM PREVIOUS VISITS PART OF MY ACCOUNT?

MyHealth will include information beginning with the first visit for which your portal account was created.

WILL I BE ABLE TO SEE MY MEDICAL INFORMATION FROM OTHER CLINICS OR HOSPITALS?

The only information you will get will be from visits at Providence Medical Center.

WHAT IF I HAVE QUESTIONS ABOUT MY MEDICAL RECORDS?

WHY IS CERNER REFERENCED ON THE WEBSITE?

Cerner is the company we use to securely manage your electronic medical record information. MyHealth is a customized Cerner system which provides you with the capabilities to interact with the medical records system.
