Personal care services aim to help seniors and other disabled individuals who need assistance with their activities of daily life.
The primary goal of personal care services is to provide quality care while allowing patients to remain in their homes for as long as possible. Personal care services are closely supervised by RNs and care is provided by certified nurse aides, LPNs, or RNs. Some people are on service for months or years, and others for only a few visits.
Certified nurse aides can assist the patient with a variety of tasks, including:
RNs visit the patient every 2 months for re-certification and to ensure the patient and aide are comfortable with the care being offered.
All services are billed to the patient or family as directed. Some insurances do cover these services.
Personal care services are available to patients of all ages.
Anyone can refer patients to personal care, including your doctor, nurse, family, friend, neighbor, or yourself.
